Relying only on sources can make revision difficult because most books are too detailed to revisit repeatedly. Notes help you compress that information into short, structured points that are easier to revise before the exam.
At the same time, making extremely detailed notes from every source can waste time. Instead, focus on limited standard sources and create concise notes that highlight key concepts, examples, and frameworks useful for answer writing.
The best approach is balance: study from reliable sources and convert important information into short, revision-friendly notes. This ensures both clarity during study and efficiency during revision.
